Technology Development Fund selects seven Boston Children’s projects in 2013

Boston Children's Hospital's Technology Development Fund (TDF) is proud to announce its 2013 awardees. During the fifth funding cycle the advisory board selected seven projects for funding. The TDF, which was established by TIDO in 2009, is a seed-stage academic catalyst fund that translates promising early-stage technologies into independently-validated, later stage, high-impact opportunities that are attractive to industry for partnering or licensing. The key to its success is an external advisory board of senior scientific and business mentors and a network of preferred contract research organizations brought together with the Boston Children's project team to execute project plans. These efforts have resulted in several NewCos and licensed technologies, publications and patents.
